UNITED NEBRASKA
MUZZLELOADERS ASSOCIATION
The United Nebraska Muzzleloaders Association,
established on January 20, 1979, is a voluntary organization of individuals and
clubs interested in activities involving the history and use of muzzle loading
firearms.
Some of the goals of the Association include promoting muzzle loading across
the state through the exchange of information regarding shoots and other black
powder events, and the development of legislative materials affecting the future
of the sport. The organization sanctions the muzzle loading rifle, pistol, and
shotgun championship matches. The host clubs and shoot sites are determined each
January at our state muzzle loading convention.
The Association is governed by a nine member board of directors; three
directors are elected from each of three districts determined by region. The
Eastern district consists of that part of Nebraska east of highway 81, the
Central district is that part of Nebraska between highway 81 and 83, while the
Western district is that part of Nebraska west of highway 83.
As a member of the United Nebraska Muzzleloaders Association, you will
receive the newsletter "The Powder Horn Press", which includes
a calendar of upcoming events, and many interesting articles concerning muzzle
loading in Nebraska. Additionally, you will receive a handbook providing
information on member black powder clubs and ranges. To become a member of the
Association, please complete the membership form and send it to the Sec./Treas.
You need not be a resident of Nebraska to become a member.
Annual dues are payable as of January 1st of each year and are for the
calendar year. Dues must be paid by March 1st to receive all Association
